The coast is clear (poetry)

For a long while it was just talk

a whisper of what                                                                                   might be

There were moments, but

they would pass,  evaporating                                                                 quickly

The time wasn't then

but today is               

If we are going to go, we best go                                                              now 

Neither of us wants to look back and think                                                if only

Neither of us wants the weight of that regret

While we still can 

Let's go                                                                                              

                                                                                                             now
