Born September 19, 1982, blonde-haired blue-eyed Zamolodchikova is a gymnast from the southwestern suburbs of Moscow. She began gymnastics training at the age of six, and today spends eight hours a day in the gym, six days per week. At the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Zamolodchikova won the individual vault and floor exercise gold medals and shared a silver medal in the team competition. She holds the title of "Honored Master of Sports, International Class" - Russia's highest athletic ranking. When not training, she enjoys reading, roller skating, and swimming. She likes to eat fish, ice cream, and chocolate, and is a fan of teen magazines, hip hop music, the Backstreet Boys, and the Offspring. Her favorite gymnasts include Grecian Ioannis Melissanidis, Ukrainian Lilia Podkopayeva, and fellow Russians Alexei Nemov and Svetlana Khorkina.
