If you're looking up at the Moon, the Mare Marginis
is at approximately 2:30, on the edge between the
nearside and the farside of the Moon. Unlike
many other Lunar Maria, the Mare Marginis is
irregular and isn't
centered around any large crater, indicating
that it was likely created by lava merely seeping up to the
surface, rather than being forced up due to meteoric impact.
