In the
Babylon 5 universe, the governmental structure of
Earth and all Earth-colonized worlds. Its headquarters are at
EarthDome in Geneva, Switzerland. It is governed by an elected President and a Senate.
The Earth Alliance first made contact with aliens (the Centauri) in the mid-22nd century. It was nearly destroyed in the Earth-Minbari War, and, as a result, was a heavy sponsor of the Babylon Project. Earth later became a founding member of the Interstellar Alliance.
