The Sprecher Brewery was founded in Milwaukee, WI in 1985 by Randal Sprecher, who apparently used to work for the Pabst Brewing Company. In 1994 the brewery was moved to a larger facility in Glendale, WI.

Most of the brews are available in four-packs of 16 ounce bottles, half-barrels, and quarter barrels. Sprecher products are readily available in Wisconsin, and the sodas can now be found in Northern Illinois as well. The sodas are sweetened with Wisconsin honey, which makes them quite yummy. They are also available by the half-barrel! I've had the root beer on tap before with free refills. Being a designated driver didn't seem so bad that evening.
