A sketch-comedy show on Fox, now in its seventh season, that was originally launched on the strength of the MAD Magazine name. While not as 'polished', or secure, as Saturday Night Live, the rough edges will sometimes produce some real comedy. As is usual with newer shows, it is more popular with younger viewers. Like SNL, MADtv has many recurring characters, such as the Vancome Lady, Stuart, and Miss Swan of the Gorgeous Pretty Beauty Nail Salon.
