with the dawn and dusk
rain and clouds
the colors would change
for days i was moved by the light
and frozen still by the pitch
blackness that followed
it was all i knew, the colors
it was all i felt
i was numbed to all else
my life ceased to exist beyond the colors
i wish everything else was as
