PanDaemonAeon is a video by the
black metal band,
Cradle of Filth, made to promote their EP
From Cradle to Enslave. Gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making for the title track from that EP as well as four live performances. Painfully
cheesy, lots of
kool-aid -y fake blood, lots of fun if you don't think about it. When you do think about it, you notice the midget, the
goats, the
chicks slitting their wrists with big knives...and you realise that this is nothing more than every goth and metal cliché thrown in a blender. It's really too bad, given the stories and
imagery that can usually be extracted from CoF's lyrics. Directed by Alex Chandon.
