This German
countertenor is at the top of his profession, and has been for some years. For the difference between an

purity of his voice, its clarity and tone combined with his technical mastery mean that although there
are other counter-tenors on the professional singing and recording
circuit, there is no-one to match him. Even as a singer neither I nor anyone else can find fault with him. Honestly, his voice sounds just
too pure. His falsetto never sounds strained or as though it might crack, and you cannot hear any
vocal breaks. In 2000 he released a CD entitled simply '
The Voice'. In other recording artists this would seem like arrogance. Go out and buy
