Espra is a project that strives to create a decentralized peer-to-peer filesharing client. It runs on top of Freenet so it has no central server like Napster, scales more efficiently than Gnutella and is fully anonymous, uncensorable and unstoppable.
With no costs on content distribution and no regulation of content, Espra hopes to introduce a gift economy where the original artists can still make a profit.
