These things are imitation bacon. They are made by Morningstar Farms and come in a little cardboard box from the freezer section of your favorite grocery store. They have no animal products in them, and they taste pretty darn good. They look (sort-of) like real bacon, and they almost taste a little like bacon. If you have a good imagination. Oops! I'm looking at the package now and that thing I said before about no animal products? Well, that's a lie. They have egg whites in them. Sorry vegans!
OK, so what's the verdict on these things? Well, they are pretty good, not something worth eating all the time, but a pretty good novelty food. Worth trying at least once.
