grassroots organization at
MIT dedicated to preserving those things that make MIT great, in spite of the administration's best efforts.
The name is a spoof on IHTFP; ILTFP is made up primarily of students and alumni who love the Institute, but are concerned with the direction the administration is taking the Institute. ILTFP engages in protest actions (tool-ins, manning booths informing freshmen that they don't have to sign "I will not leave the campus" contracts with the school, et al), as well as providing a forum for interested parties to bring to light negative actions of the school.
