'Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom: Creating Physical and Emotional Health and Healing' by Christiane Northrup, M.D.

If you are a woman, or you just like women a whole lot, I highly suggest this book as it encourages that we look at our mind/body/spirit connections to see how emotions manifest themselves in our bodies. It applies to men as well.

It's a feminist book that doesn't single out men as a target for blame, so I would suggest it for anyone who's ever thought to use the word "feminazi". It might provide a more positive outlook on what may seem like a man-hating stereotype.

This book is organic and holistic, but incorporates some American tradition and should not scare away the fairly open-minded reader. With insights into why we are the way we are, and how women have made their own place in society, it is eye-opening.

Its words put power back into the reader's hands and teaches one to take responsibility for her body and her life.
