William Browning Spencer was born in
1946 in Washington D.C. He is known for writing
bizarre and
surreal fiction, which he turned to after realizing that collecting
turtles is not a viable
profession. He is the
author of four
novels and one book of
short stories. His
writing has been
described as dropping
acid with
Dr. Seuss. He currently lives and writes in Texas.
