A 12-bit keyboard sampler with 4-voice polyphony and a 37-note keyboard. Released in 1986 with a $1295 U.S. asking price.

The X3700 is a small lightweight entry-level version of the X7000.
The unit's sampling features and RAM capacity are very similar to its big brother. 8 seconds can be stored in the 128K RAM using the maximum 40kHz frequency. A 2.8" Quick Disk drive is available, and the sample editing functions are identical to the X7000.
The keyboard can be split in 2 parts, and external control is done via a MIDI interface.
