Pocket PC is version 3 of Microsoft's Windows CE devices.

The main features include

• a revamped interface, loosing a lot of the Windows look-alike features present in the previous versions
• Colour screens
• USB interfaces for PC syncronisation
• ActiveSync 3.1
• Built in support for AvantGo channels
• Windows Media Player for both mp3 and wma playback
• Microsoft Reader for on-line books
• Pocket IE for web browsing on the move

The devices are made by several leading PC manufacturers, including Compaq, Casio and Hewlett Packard.
