Zinc Bar and Grill (place)

A lunch restaurant rather than one for dinner, Zinc offers a wonderful light menu, including a Saturday brunch menu which includes kedgeree and a great Eggs Benedict. Druing weekday lunch the place is full of chattering city folk, eating their soups, salads, sandwiches and other smart snacks, which generally reach a good standard. Larger meals in the form of liver and bacon, fish and chips, sausages and colcannon are available, as are a few vegetarian dishes, for example, risotto of mushrooms and courgettes or pasta, tomato rocquette and parmesan. For those with rugrats a menu appropriately priced dishes for the under-12s is available.
