Tenth novel by author Sture Dahlström first published in 1985.
This short novel is about a poet revolting against bureaucracy. His name is Glad, but he is suddenly required by the authorities to change to Sad.
Glad discovers that life has fled society and that everything goes mouldy, people go mouldy, and even the imposing houses of power are slowly sinking into the ground. Glad tries to fight back with obscene amounts of eroticism, but has to give up and flee the country.
