common sight in the
science departments most
university campuses. A big
rat-squasher of a book, it's about 1500 pages of just about
every derived
number in the universe, EXCEPT the one that you really want.
Some numbers that I have needed and not found in my CRC:
For many of the above, it turned out that I needed to get a
companion book to get the numbers I needed. I have also heard professors complain of outright
errors in the CRC, but I have never encountered one myself.
I will give the CRC props for its thorough table of integrals, which has helped me out on several occasions.
