Hillsboro is a city in Oregon. It is located in the center of Washington County, and serves as the county seat.

Hillsboro is west of Portland and Beaverton and serves as the western terminus of Tri-met's MAX light rail line. Other cities nearby include Forest Grove, Cornelius, and North Plains.

Hillsboro has historically had an agricultural economy, but the growth of Intel and other high-tech employers in the area have made Hillsboro into a big part of the silicon forest.
