Joseph Randolph Ackerley (1896 - 1967). Writer of Hindoo Holiday (1932), My Dog Tulip (1956), We Think the World of You (1960), and My Father and Myself (Autobiography, sort of, 1968). He was also editor of The Listener (1935 - 1959).
