Tosca is the collaboration of DJ's Richard Dorfmeister (yes, of Kruder and Dorfmeister) and Rupert Huber. If you enjoy the music of Kruder and Dorfmeister, you will probably enjoy Tosca as well.

Tosca's debut was "Opera" (1997), a funky collection of downtempo tracks with the laziest bass lines ever. Over the hypnotic tracks you hear samples from street poets and the immortal Chocolate Elvis.

In 2000 the duo released "Suzuki". This CD is less funky but much dreamier, with elegant synth melodies and whispered, wordless vocals.

Apart from these CD's, Tosca also released a CD with remixes of "Fuck Dub" (one of the tracks on "Opera") and "Suzuki In Dub", a collection of dub remixes from "Suzuki". Most recently, they released "A Different Taste of Honey", another CD of remixes, this time all variations on "Honey", a track from "Suzuki".
