Latin Extended B picks up where Latin Extended A left off. 208 more Latin characters including : Or, counting in a different way, there are 14 A's, 4 B's, 2 C's, 4 D's, 9 E's, 2 F's, 7 G's, 2 H's, 7 I's, 1 J, 4 K's, 1 L, 1 M, 5 N's, 24 O's, 2 P's, no Q's, 4 R's, 2 S's, 6 T's, 16 U's, 1 V, no W's, no X's, 4 Y's and 4 Z's. And that's NOT including the occurences in ligatures which would have added a total of 42 to the counts.

This block covers, among others, the characters in ISO 6438, the Pinyin Latin translations from GB 2312 and JIS X 0212, and Sami characters from ISO 8859-10.

For historical reasons, the names of some case pairs differ. For example, U+018E  Ǝ  Latin capital letter reversed e   is the uppercase equivalent of U+01DD  ǝ  Latin small letter turned e   -- not of U+0258  ɘ  Latin small letter reversed e.

Unicode's Latin Extended B code block reserves the 208 code points from U+0180 to U+024F, of which all 208 are currently assigned.
