after night
inside me,
yet still hand me cobwebbed rainbows
in the open light of day.
you push mirrors to my face
while i,
recite sonnets
of original sin.
lost in dream
and deception,
denying the Self of memory,shame
and the treacherous truth.
as you flood me,
i am submerged
in the opus
of my own love songs,
unaware of the
numbing existance
that travels between the burning bodies
of your surreal answers.

tasting my
whilst drinking
my soul,
i wilt,
in wasted carnal worship,
as you relinquish my womanhood
to a place of eternal mourning.
