Here I go again,
looking for the next spark in a forest fire,
stepping into the light and not thinking it would burn me too

Two strangers from afar,
walking toward each other in the night,
stepping on eggshells in a bubbling melting pot
but pretending the result will turn out solid as souffle

Solid at first glance,
dissolving after the second,
so the clouds vaporize before our very feet,
and we've walked into the eye of the thunderstorm
