A euphemism for
puking (itself a euphemism for
vomiting...). I've never understood this one. The best guess I can come up with is the
onomatopoeic theory: when you're really
heaving something out, it could sound like, "raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalph."
Go figure.
