Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet, or the Norwegian University of Technology and Science (NUTS). Norway's second largest university, located in Trondheim. It has a student mass of about 20 000. Despite the name, it teaches humanities and social sciences as well as science and engineering. An academy of music is also part of the university organization.

In certain circles, NTNU is jokingly referred to as "NT, Not Unix!", due to them having switched almost entirely to Windows NT in the later years.
