The command to send a
CPU time limit exceeded signal to a
process. The
system should send this when some process is
eating CPU cycles, but
AFAIK it needs some
weird configuration option. This would be really usefull on
time-sharing systems or huge
multi-user systems, not so much on a
desktop box.
If you read this literally, it means "kill the process, and toast the CPU while you're at it". About as useful as the HCF instruction.
