T and A is short for "Tits and Ass", a label applied to forms of entertainment (movies, magazines, videogames) that exist primarily to display
scantily clad female bodies.
T & A can also refer to that sub-genre of
B movies, often seen in the
late night slot of
cable television stations, such as
USA and
Showtime (but not
Skinnimax, which is more likely to have harder stuff). The biggest difference between a T&A film and
soft-core porn is that where a soft-core film will actually show exposed breasts and sex scenes multiple times, the whole point of a T&A film is to make you wish you could see some
sex and
nudity, building anticipation through
scantily clad female characters.
