A small rural town in the southern Rangitikei, New Zealand, with a population of approximately 5000. Originally called Tutaneui, the Maori name for the area, but quickly changed to Marton by European settlers upon discovering Tutaneui roughly translated to "big stinky swamp". Apart from its legendary duck crossing signs, theres not really much to see.
