Talking Heads is two
series of six
monologues each, written by
Alan Bennett. These brilliant examples of
British comedy are recorded and broadcast by the
BBC and are read by British actors, most famously by
Thora Hird.
They are subtly funny, and are also very emotional in places, and give a real glimpse into life in England.
I believe that a third series is currently in preparation, but I do not know when it will be out.
