Certain kinds of
music can
invoke feelings of travelling to
distant lands, all in your
mind. It's an interesting sensation. Play some
psychedelic trance and lie back in bed.
Allow yourself to fall half
asleep while the
music is playing. Do not play the music too
loud; only play it loud enough to
surround you.
When I do this, I feel all ethereal, almost as if I were on drugs, or so I've heard. Isn't that spiffy; a completely safe way of getting high. It's a bizarre sensation; if you are into trance, try it. You may find yourself travelling without moving as well.
(There are a few trance tracks that have a sample of a woman saying "Travel without Moving". This is where I got this expression from.)
