Timberwolf is
Chuck Jones' latest cartoon creation. He is a fuzzy grey wolf with a "
great big bushy tail", as the theme song goes, which is cursed to have a
tree fall upon his head whenever he utters the world "
timber" in any way.
It sounds like a simple, cliche'd premise, perhaps, but as always, Chuck Jones manages to use it in wildly amusing ways. Thomas is frequently found besting and getting bested by Earl Squirrel, who chitters amusingly as he talks.
The most amazing thing about this cartoon is that it is created entirely in Shockwave Flash. It can be found at http://www.warnerbros.com, and the best part is that Warner Brothers makes no attempt to keep you from downloading the cartoons and keeping a Thomas Timberwolf archive!
