A supercar made by American manufacturer Dodge, the SRT-10 is the third incarnation of that legendary supercar - the one and only Dodge Viper. For 2003, Dodge now has a bigger engine (now a whopping 8.3L, making this one of the only production cars to have an engine greater than 500cu in), less weight (the new Viper now weighs 100lbs less than the previous model) and better handling thanks to a race-bred chassis, independent four-wheel suspension, wide tyres and wheels and massive brakes supported by an enhanced version of the 2001 Viper's four-wheel ABS. Taking its style cues from the GTS/R Concept model showcased at the 2000 North American Internation Motor Show, the new SRT-10 not only looks good but performs better with improved aerodynamics and a partial undertray. Although the Viper SRT-10 goes on sale in September of 2002, the vehicle has in fact been completely sold out since January so finding one will be difficult and certainly not cheap.
