An aerial or ground navigational concept.
Distance arcs are drawn as
circles (or parts thereof) having their centers at some known location. They represent a projected known range from the location.
To fix your location, you would additionaly require:
- two position lines
- two distance arcs
If you have only one, your location must be within the shape described by the intersection of the lines or arcs.
