The
Middle Atlantic Conference,
MAC, is a
NCAA Division III conference. Founded in 1912 as a loose confederation of colleges. In 1952 it became more unified into an all-sports conference. It was formally known as the
Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Conference. The league sponsers many sports for both men and women.
