Starflight, a peaceful, plant-like race that lives somewhere downspin of
Arth. They reproduce once a year when their heads become filled with seed, or "
headfruit," which is a
Thrynn delicacy - thus the enemity between them. It is difficult to converse with the Elowan if you've communicated with the
Thyrnn or you have a
Thyrnn crewmember.
Don't ask me how plants can be sentient. However, they make good
doctors and communications officers.
