Rivers Cuomo decided to attend college after the relase of the second album, the other band members started various
side projects.
Guitarist Brian Bell started
The Space Twins and
bassist Matt Sharp started
The Rentals.
Drummer Pat Wilson started The
Special Goodness.
In the studio, Pat handles vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and synth. However, in live performances he is joined by Pat Finn, Lee Loretta, and Weezer roadie/website maintainer Karl Koch.
The first Special Goodness album, which will be self titled, is scheduled to be released April 21, 2001 under Vast Records.
