A good Japanese restaurant in San Jose, California. 1335 North 1st Street, close to the airport, and shares a building with House of Cathay, or something like that. The interior is so modern-artistic that I was afraid I couldn't afford it, but it was reasonable for a nice restaurant--$20 for lunch and dessert and tea for two. I haven't tried their sushi or sashimi, but their chiri-chiri beef was most excellent. They'll even cook teppanyaki at your table. Recommended. (I mean, with a name like "House of Genji," how can you go wrong?)
