G Train (Brooklyn-Queens Crosstown Local)
The G Train gets a lot of abuse and very little respect. Largely this is due to the fact that it never goes into Manhattan, thus making the Manhattan-centric world skeptical of its virtues. Additionally, it's slow, comes infrequently, and has a lot of stops. On the plus side, the G is almost always on time, you always get a seat and it covers a lot of territory that would be entirely without subway access were it not to exist. The G runs from 179th Street in Queens down to Smith-9th Street in Brooklyn. The G Train always runs local, and has a slightly funky schedule that the individual stops define below.
