Chi*los"to*ma (?), Chi*lo*stom"a*ta (?), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. + , , outh.] Zool.

An extensive suborder of marine Bryozoa, mostly with calcareous shells. They have a movable lip and a lid to close the aperture of the cells.
