wmtv is a dockapp (Dockable application primarily intended for use with WindowMaker and other such window managers) that displays a complete TV set in 64x64 pixels. Channel scanning and everything. Way cool. It uses Video4linux to get the big picture.

It's great for waiting some programs to start, because it occupies less screen space than xawtv. Of course, it's not too great for casual TV watching because no one likes stamp-sized picture. Thus, wmtv can launch external TV program (like xawtv) or go into 640x480 pixel full screen mode.
