A carryout is a store that sells beer and other alcohol, usually with a drive-thru window, in which case they sometimes acquire the longer name "carryout and drive-thru".
Carryouts are often run by individuals. The concept is a quick-stop where you walk in and carry out what you need to watch the game or spend a night in. Chips, soda/pop, and other party time accessories are sold alongside the alcoholic drinks.
