The concrete donut is an evil object used to protect
sprinkler heads on lawns from damage by
lawnmowers. The donut is placed around the head, such that its top when retracted is below the top of the donut.
Unfortunately, many people place these so that they stick up VERY far above the ground, and serve as a great implement for
tripping unsuspecting
persons as they walk through the
yard.
