Wang Ming
Chinese representative to Comintern, this man was well respected by Stalin for his knowledge of ideological Communism. Wang recommended integrating the Red Army w/ Nationalists and was head of Pavel Mif’s Marxist study group in 1931. He became Mao’s scapegoat during Long March, taking the blame for the party's failures. He and Moa differed greatly on interpretations of Comintern policy. Mao felt Lenin, Marx, and Wang Ming didn’t fully understand China. While traditional Communism values the strength of the workers, Mao felt that China's strength lay with her peasants.
