Title of a 1980's film directed by Roman Polanski, starring Harrison Ford.

The movie takes place in Paris when a tourist's wife is kidnapped. Ford, as her husband, goes looking for her in the suspense chase movie from hell. Along the way he meets a beautiful young woman who happens to be a smuggler and forces her to help him. An exchange is arranged for Ford's character's wife, involving the U.S. State Department, CIA, the KGB, and possibly some free agents working for themselves.

Watching the movie is much better than any old written synopsis could be. See it for yourself.

The word frantic is also used in the Barenaked Ladies song, "Two Weeks." The line itself refers to the film mentioned above:
"Like Harrison Ford I'm getting frantic"
