A type of chainmail weave in which each link is joined to six others. It takes longer to knit and is thus more expensive than four-in-one. European six-in-one is just like European four-in-one, with the links in a zig-zag pattern if you look at it edge-on. In Japanese six-in-one, the links are at right angles to each other and to the plane of the mail. From the top, it makes a hexagon pattern.
