La Compagnie Médiévale is a theatre troupe from Montréal, Québec, Canada. Since 1994, it has been instructing people on the finer points of Middle Ages, through historical recreations and shows. Its spectacles combine historical concepts, theatre, music, humour, and tumbling and fencing tournaments.

Being a live theatre troupe, they bring the audience into the event, having them feel part of the Middle Ages by recreating the environment, habits and everyday life of companies of this time. To achieve this end, La Compagnie Médiévale is a team of historians, event organizers, musicians, actors, authors, craftsmen, costumers, blacksmiths, combatants, fire-breathers, jugglers, travelling acrobats, archers, dancers, horse riders and others.

This versatility is also reflected in its repertoire, which offers programs for many tastes, occasions, and budgets. They perform in tournaments, dinner theatre, military recreations, street theatre, musical and children’s shows, and fencing and archery workshops.

They went touring with the Montréal-based music group, L'ensemble des Lutins Luthiers.
