W, Kingsway just
has to go and meander through the
Lower Mainland as though lain down in
pavement by some
impassive (and
deviant)
juggernaut.
I live on Kingsway. There is a lot of traffic, and six years ago, when I moved here, I would notice it. Now, I am powerful. None of the sound is heard, yet it all filters into the subconscious mind. I know when to catch the 112 bus based on the learned instinct to leave the house.
Kingsway starts at Main Street, in Vancouver and, when it enters New Westminster (at 10th Ave.), becomes 12th Street. Just like that.
