putty (thing)

PuTTY is a raw/telnet/ssh terminal for MS Windows. It emulates a xterm. It is simular to SecureCRT but is freeware and is much more trimmed down. While this causes it to lose some of the neat functions that SecureCRT has it surpasses SecureCRT in stability and ability to comply with the standards out there.

Compatible with (but not limited to): Windows 9x, Windows NT and Windows 2000
